Riaan obtained his BCom Law and LLB degrees in 2004 and 2006 respectively, both from the University of Pretoria. He then joined GLM in January of 2007 as a Candidate Attorney and gained experience in Personal Injury Law, General Litigation and Insurance Law. Riaan was admitted as an Attorney in 2009 and appointed as an Associate in the Insurance Law Department mainly servicing corporate clients within the Insurance Industry and the Public Sector on issues of liability, regulatory aspects, legislative issues and managing of litigious claims.
