Anel was admitted as an Attorney in 1997 and joined GLM as an Associate in 2006. During her career Anel has mostly been involved in Employment Law and labour related work and has extensive knowledge of all aspects relating to the current South African Labour Law and practices. She appears personally in the Labour Courts of South Africa, as well as at arbitrations before the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration (CCMA) and other Bargaining Forums. Anel specialises in advising on all aspects relating to industrial action, employment management, procurement, disciplinary procedures and policies. Anel was appointed as a Director in the Employment Law Department of the firm from January 2009. Anel advises and assists clients such as Assupol, Mango Airlines, Medicover Medical Scheme and Bonitas Medical Fund at regular intervals with employment related advice and Labour Litigation.
