Henk was admitted as an Attorney in February 1987, and joined GLM as Director in August 1990. Henk is heading the firm’s Insurance Law Department, which inter alia includes litigation in all aspects and fields of the Law of Insurance. Henk also attends to other Commercial Litigation, Personal Injury claims, Delictual Liability claims as well as General Litigation matters. Over his more than 22 years in practice, Henk has attended to some very interesting matters covering the spectrum of the Law of Insurance, Law of Contract, Law of Delict, Personal Injury claims, Professional Indemnity Litigation including Medical Negligence, Forensic Investigations as well as Arbitrations. Various matters in which Henk was involved were reported in the SA Law Reports, and the most recent is the judgment of Van der Eecken v Salvation Army Property Co and Another 2008 (4) SA 28 T.
