Before joining GLM, Maya worked in the Public Sector for a period of 4 years, mainly involving statutory insurance. She joined GLM in 2000 as Candidate Attorney and became a Director in the Personal Injury Law Department in January 2007. Maya specialises in litigation within the Personal Injury Law sphere and has more than 14 years of experience in this field. She has Right of Appearance in the High Court and deals mostly with high value and complicated claims, which at times involve conducting investigations in foreign countries. She has a special interest in the investigation of and litigation pertaining to Medical Negligence claims.
